Practice Requirement
10 Hours of Practice in Our Virtual Studio
All students are required to complete 10 hours of yoga classes in our virtual studio to deepen their personal practice and integrate alignment, cueing, and philosophy in real time.
Classes must be completed by July 27, 2026 to count toward certification.
Recorded Teaching Hours
15 Hours of Recorded Teaching Hours
Enrollment includes 15 hours of recorded teaching content from The Prana Academy’s core faculty. These recordings provide detailed alignment labs, cueing breakdowns, and sequencing strategies you can revisit anytime.
You’ll gain lifetime access to this library for continued growth and inspiration as you evolve as a teacher.
Homework Requirement
20-Question Test & 1,000-Word Essay on the Yamas & Niyamas
To complete certification, students must submit two final assignments:
- 20-Question Multiple Choice Test covering anatomy, cueing, alignment, philosophy, and ethics to demonstrate understanding of core concepts.
- 1,000-Word Essay on the Yamas & Niyamas exploring how these ethical principles apply to modern life, teaching practice, and liberatory leadership in yoga.
These assignments are designed to encourage deep reflection and integration of the philosophical roots of yoga into everyday living and teaching.
You’ll receive access to the test and essay prompts after completing all live intensives and practice hours.
